OneWay

Effective date: 01.08.2026  ·  Last updated: 01.08.2026

The short version. OneWay is a single-player puzzle game. It has no advertising, no accounts to create, and no data selling. The game plays fully offline. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location.

We do use a small amount of anonymous usage and crash information to fix bugs and understand which parts of the game work. If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games, your achievements and scores are handled by Google under Google's own privacy policy.

This policy explains what information the OneWay mobile game ("the game", "we", "us") handles, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the Android application published under the package name com.arrowpuzzlegame.oneway.

1. Who is responsible

The game is developed and published by AKEL Applications. For any question about this policy or about your data, contact AKEL Applications.

We aim to answer privacy requests within 30 days.

2. Information we do not collect

To be explicit, the game does not collect or request any of the following:

3. Information that is collected

3.1 Gameplay and usage analytics

The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played in aggregate. This helps us understand gameplay balance, see which game modes are used, and identify puzzles that may be too difficult. The events we record are:

EventWhat it records
Level completedCategory, world, level number, moves used, stars earned, hints used
Daily puzzle completedGrid size and current streak length
Zen sessionThat an endless session was started
Store screen viewedWhich locked area prompted it, and total levels completed so far
Purchase started / completedWhich of the two one-time products, and total levels completed

Firebase also records standard technical information automatically, such as app version, device model, operating system version, language, country derived from IP address, and a randomly generated app instance identifier. This identifier is not linked to your name or email and is reset if you reinstall the game or clear its data.

3.2 Crash reports

The game uses Firebase Crashlytics. If the game crashes, a report is sent the next time you open it. A report contains the technical state of the crash: the stack trace, device model, operating system version, app version, available memory, and the time of the crash. It does not contain your game progress or any personal identifier you have given us.

3.3 Google Play Games Services (optional)

If you sign in to Google Play Games, the following is handled through Google's service:

This data is stored by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Signing in is optional. If you do not sign in, the game works normally and your progress stays on your device only.

3.4 Purchases

The game offers two optional one-time purchases that unlock additional content. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card number, bank details, or billing address. We receive only a confirmation from Google that a purchase for a given product was completed, which the game uses to unlock the content.

3.5 Data stored on your device

The game stores the following locally on your device, using Android's standard app storage:

This information stays on your device. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data removes it.

4. Why we use this information

We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, and we do not attempt to identify you personally.

5. Legal basis (for players in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom)

6. Who else receives data

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data. Information is shared only with the service providers required to run the features described above:

ProviderPurposePolicy
Google (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics) Usage statistics and crash reporting Firebase Privacy Notice
Google (Play Games Services) Achievements, leaderboards, cloud save Google Privacy Policy
Google (Play Billing) Processing optional purchases Google Privacy Policy

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of players or of the developer.

7. International transfers

The providers listed above operate globally and may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the safeguards published by Google, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not operate servers of our own.

8. How long data is kept

9. Your choices and rights

Controls inside the game and on your device

Rights you can exercise

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your information, and to data portability. Because we hold no account that identifies you, we may be unable to locate data about a specific person; in that case the fastest route is the device-level controls above. For data held by Google, use your Google Account controls.

To make a request to us, write to AKEL Applications. Players in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. Players in Türkiye may exercise the rights granted by KVKK Article 11 through the same address.

10. Children's privacy

OneWay is suitable for a general audience and contains no violence, chat, user-generated content, or advertising. It is not directed specifically at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The game asks for no personal details from any player.

Play Games sign-in and purchases are controlled by the Google account on the device and by Google's own family settings. Parents can restrict purchases through Google Play's parental controls. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.

11. Security

Game progress is stored in your device's private app storage, which other apps cannot read. Data in transit to Google's services is encrypted using HTTPS. We hold no servers and no database of players. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the amount of data involved is deliberately kept minimal.

12. Permissions the game requests

14. Changes to this policy

If the game's data practices change, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play. Continuing to use the game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
